Kybella is a non-surgical, injectable treatment made up of deoxycholic acid, a compound produced naturally by the body. This procedure is most commonly used to reduce the appearance of submental fat, which can often result in the formation of a double chin. Although these treatments are typically quite straightforward, they can sometimes go wrong if your provider is not adequately skilled.
Also referred to as injectable lipolysis, these treatments use a template on the face and under the chin to ensure accuracy as the injections are made.
